Bluff City FC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit adult soccer club based in San Francisco. We provide competitive playing opportunities for adult players who want to improve their game and be part of a community.
We're competitive. Our players are expected to have prior soccer experience and commit to regular training and matches. If you're looking for casual pickup games, we can point you to some great options, but that's not what we do.
Players must be 18 or older. Most of our players are between 22-40, but we welcome anyone who can keep up with the pace of play.

Tryouts
Tryouts consist of three sessions over two weeks. We evaluate technical ability, tactical understanding, fitness, and—importantly—how you fit with our culture. You pay per session, and we recommend attending all three for the best evaluation.
Cleats, shin guards, water, and both a light and dark shirt. We'll provide the balls and bibs.
Pricing is tiered: Early Bird ($10/session), Regular ($15/session), or Late ($20/session). All fees go directly toward field rentals and equipment.
Within one week of the final session. Everyone who attends receives feedback, whether or not they make the team.
We strongly encourage attending all sessions, but we understand life happens. Missing one session won't automatically disqualify you, but it does make evaluation harder.
Membership
Annual dues depend on the total overall squad, which can be paid in full or in quarterly installments. This covers field rentals, equipment, league registration, and team events.
Two weekly training sessions, league matches, team gear, access to team events, and a community of players who genuinely have your back.
We train twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday evenings) and play matches on weekends. We expect members to attend at least 80% of all events.
Occasionally we have spots open up mid-season. When that happens, we hold mini-tryouts. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified.
Support
Donations are always appreciated and tax-deductible. We also welcome volunteers for events, photography, and administrative help.
